We collect and share our collections because the mission of America’s Packard Museum is to educate present and future generations about the Packard Motor Car Company, its products, and philosophies.

Since 1992, America’s Packard Museum has been at the forefront of automotive preservation and educating the public, especially children, about design, engineering, history, innovation, and technology.

All materials at America’s Packard Museum are related to the either the Ohio Automobile Company of Warren Ohio (1899-1903), the Packard Motor Car Company (1903-1954) of Detroit, Michigan, or the Studebaker-Packard Corporation (1954-1958) of both Detroit and South Bend, Indiana. On rare exception, the collection reaches beyond this scope. However, all of America’s Packard Museum’s collections are to tell the Packard Story and to follow the Mission of the Museum.

The automobiles and trucks at America’s Packard Museum’s collection are are either any vehicle produced by Packard, or non-Packard automobiles that can be directly linked to the Packard Motor Car Company either through its employees or products. Rare exceptions to this are automobiles of special interest that make a direct comparison to Packard products and philosophies.
