It begins with the early days and includes the Types 10 and 13 and Bresca, followed by the great Bugatti tourers like the splendid Types 44 and 39. Next comes the outstanding racing cars that established Bugatti’s reputation as one of the finest and most successful constructors of sports vehicles. Among the cars illustrated here are the wonderful Types 35, 37, and 59, together with a selection of contemporary action photographs. The final two chapters cover the Grand Sport Bugattis, the Types 43 and 55) and the really luxurious touring cars including the monster Type 41 Royals and culminating in perhaps the most refined and successful Bugatti of them all, the unique Type 57 of 1934-1939. You do not have to be a vintage car enthusiast to enjoy this beautifully produced book. Anyone who likes automobile engineering at its very best will marvel at these extraordinary cars.
